The museum is home to several world class fossils including: a cluster of 500 million
year old Orthoceras (proto-squids), a juvenile Psitticosaurus dinosaur still embedded
in it’s original matrix, and “Milly” , an abnormally large Woolly Mammoth skull
and tusks. In April 2008 we welcomed the arrival of our newest fossil beast “Smokey”,
a complete nine foot tall cave bear skeleton.
